I've been blogging for about a year now. I started it simply as a creative journaling/record-keeping outlet (So much easier than trying to keep up with my photo scrapbooks), and a way to keep out-of-town family/friends informed of our goings-on.
Little did I know that there is an entire blog culture out there with its own "etiquette."
Yesterday, my friend, Jamie (congratulations, Jamie!), posted an award she had won from a fellow blogger. I asked if she was "supposed" to post her award on her blog, or if she just chose to do so.
She quickly informed me that if you receive an award, you are supposed to post it on your blog and link to the person who gave it to you.
So, I apologize for my ignorance on this--
Thanks so much, Marly, for giving me this (I now feel like one of the popular kids)! And your praise is indeed something to be treasured!
