Highlights

Life has been wicked busy--here are the highlights:

~J lost her first tooth over the weekend.  And the second one a day later.  The tooth fairy is going to be broke if this keeps up.

~I had the "pleasure" of attending two football games and a soccer match over the weekend.  And washing the dirty uniforms after.  And it was stinkin' hot!

~N got his new NASCAR hat autographed by his favorite driver.

~M is getting fabulous grades in school (must be that previous teacher she had).

~N and C decided to play football in the house while I had a phone staff meeting and proceeded to knock a picture off the wall, shattering glass all over the basement.  Lucky I was on the phone, or there's no telling what I might've said...

~None of my home schooled children like school (such an ego booster).

~Our big "count the kids" days at work are finally over.  My colleague decided she needed to go to Hawaii with her husband for a marriage conference (must be rough!) and I got to go over paperwork for her students and mine.  120 in all.  I'm thinking she owes me some fabulous Hawaiian pineapple on her return!

~My friend, Julie, is FINALLY back from her vacation, which was not even two weeks but felt like two years.

~I, in a moment of unprecedented insanity, let my husband make ride arrangements with another father to get C to football practice. This "genius" decision of mine resulted in a "lost child" for about 40 minutes and years off of my life.

~I still can't seem to get people in my house to 1. Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, or 2. Take clean ones out and put them away.  I have caught them putting dirty ones away, however.  Arrrggh!
