August Birthdays

Well, N turned eleven (ELEVEN???), yesterday. And C turns nine (NINE??) in just a couple of weeks. August is such a fun month for me as I get to celebrate these two amazing people whose lives I have been blessed to be a part of.

We all have such high hopes and dreams for our kids. In fact, I was at a conference last week for educators. One of the speakers made this very astute comment:

Be very careful when you talk to parents about their children. You are treading on dreams.

It got me thinking about the hopes and dreams that I have for my children. And they are numerous. But Sara Groves sums it up best.
