~You are driving down the street and the children are actually behaving in the car, making it possible for you to actually pay attention to the road--specifically to the car in front of you.
~You notice that the car in front of you has a black, school-looking binder sitting on top of the trunk (You think that it must be wedged on there pretty well if it made it that far from a school without falling off).
~Being the Good Samaritan you are, you honk vehemently and look like an idiot trying to signal to the guy in front of you that a notebook is on the back of his trunk.
~The driver (whose kids must also be behaving in the car) actually notices you and pulls over.
~He gives you a "thumbs up" as opposed to a "finger up" and smiles as you drive by.
It doesn't take much to make my day, does it?

I think what actually made your day was the person you were talking to on the phone, while getting the "thumbs up"! :)
