Well, we're finally gonna do it. Our kids have been begging for years. We are taking our kids to Great Wolf Lodge this weekend, where we are meeting my sister and her family. She deploys next week--sniff, sniff--actually crocodile tears--so this is our last "hurrah" before she leaves.
My youngest daughter has been packed for a week. She pulled it all out for me today:

Notice the simplicity here: Outfit to wear to Lodge. Outfit to wear home. Swimming suit. No jammies...no shoes...no panties--because I, like my friend, Jamie, have a daughter who would spend every waking moment in her swimming suit if I'd let her. And we are going to Great Wolf Lodge to swim, right? So who needs shoes?? Or jammies?? Or panties??
