Sorry--posting on Saturday, again!
Ten Reasons I Am Not Looking Forward to February
- Feb. 1--Hubby will leave for a ski trip (after having just been gone for two days on business)--3 days of skiing, 2 days of driving. Leaving me alone with 4 children on a Friday night when they are all now old enough to go skiing with him and leave me at home alone by myself!
- Feb. 2--Hubby will still be gone on said ski trip and I will need to have coffee with adults by Saturday morning. This will mean one of two options: leave my children home alone and go have coffee somewhere (and deal with the aftermath later), or invite my friends and their children over for coffee (and deal with the aftermath later) :o) Or better yet, leave the aftermath for my husband to deal with when he gets home!
- Feb. 3--Hubby will still be gone on ski trip--get kids ready for church (by myself), go to church (by myself), and the worst part of it all--pretend to be interested in the outcome of the Super Bowl for my two boys (I will get some help with this--Thanks, Julie and John!)
- Feb. 4--Husband still skiing. Me working, teaching, taking my daughter to ballet, and trying to figure out who is going to be responsible for my children while I run taxi service to Hutchinson.
- Feb. 5--Husband (better be) on his way home from skiing. Me hoping he arrives home in time for me to go to the eye doctor without having to take four kids and make two trips to Hutchinson in one day.
- Feb. 13--Husband in Chicago for business. Possibly on the 12th and or 14th as well. More of above--PLUS having to maintain warm fuzzy feelings about Husband since his birthday is on the 15th.
- Feb. 24,
- Feb.25,
- Feb. 26,
- and Feb. 27--all of when Husband is at a conference in Anaheim, CA.
Who says February is a short month?
