Why is it that:
Uplifting foam "uplifts" everyone else I know's hair beautifully, but makes NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL to mine?
The Chi flat iron (which, incidentally, costs the same amount of money as our monthly rent for our very first apartment when we were first married) straightens everyone else I know's hair beautifully, but does NOTHING for the duck-tailed cowlick at the back of my head?
I go to a fabulous hair stylist, get a great cut, TAKE NOTES as she drys and styles it, look halfway decent leaving her studio, and 3 hours later--having done nothing to my hair; I am rather afraid to touch it--wind up looking like my boring old self again, to the point that my husband didn't even notice I had gotten my hair cut at all? And there isn't a prayer of me making it look like she did today, tomorrow!

You should post a picture of what it looks like right after you get it cut. Take your digi to your appt and have your stylist take it.
