The Lost Has Been Found!

Wow. I just looked at the title I came up with for this installment, and realized that it is misleading. Hopefully, the picture helps. This is not going to be some great story about someone's soul. It is simply an update on car keys (See a previous whiny blog post about my crazy Monday).

My husband has returned from galavanting all over the US for business. This morning, he sat down at his desk in his "home office" (our bedroom--don't get me started--that's info for an entire new posting) and began to look for his blue tooth device. He rummaged through the piles on his desk--the top was barely visible--and tucked neatly in a crevice under the computer monitor was--TA-DA!!! The extra set of keys to his Dodge Intrepid. The set it would have been SO nice to have LAST Monday.

I am always secretly glad when we find lost things in my husband's possession, because deep down, I think he blames me for stuff that is missing. When I called to ask him where the keys might be, his first response was, "I thought you had them. Are you sure they aren't in one of your many purses somewhere?"

But now we, or I should say he, has a new problem. The blue tooth device is still missing. And I can gurarantee it isn't in one of my many purses somewhere. I turned all of them inside out a week ago looking for the spare set of car keys to his Dodge Intrepid.

My husband usually thinks lost things are my fault too. Unfortunately, he's usually right. If it's not the keys, it's the cell phone. If it's not the cell phone, it's the receipt of the latest thing we purchased. I think I'm doing pretty well, I haven't yet lost one of our kids.
