- Getting a pedicure. Yes--even though summer is almost over and flip-flop season is about done. But I haven't had one since the day before my wedding almost 13 years ago. It is time.
- Putting gas in my car. I am running on fumes, because it was more important for me to hit Starbucks in Emporia than a gas station.
- Hitting Starbucks for a light mocha. Whether it is on ice or not will depend on the outside temperature.
- Walking around the Plaza. Even if it rains. My mom lives, like three blocks from there, so we HAVE to go.
- Eating somewhere where your food doesn't come on a tray, and they don't ask you "If you would like fries with that." And ABSOLUTELY NO PLAYPLACE.
- Having lighthearted conversations with my mom.
- Hitting a Barnes & Noble for a book to read tomorrow while my mom is at a meeting.
- Trying NOT to obsess about the call I got yesterday about a potential employment opportunity.
- Calling my brother and sister to tell them how much I love them.
- Enjoying every minute of my time away.
Forgive me my nonsense as I also forgive the nonsense of those who think that they talk sense. ~Robert Frost
